Naja Bates is a performer from Alexandria, VA. who recently graduated from Shenandoah University with her BFA in Musical Theatre. Beginning at age two, dance has truly given Naja a platform to express herself. Later, joining the theatre world, she realized that this was the path for her (especially since she'd invested in six pairs of tap shoes instead of that TI-84 calculator.) Within the theatre industry she aims to spread love, joy, and a sprinkle of black girl magic. She has performed in numerous productions, including PIPPIN, HAIR, 42nd STREET, and LEGALLY BLONDE, and is currently the female swing and dance captain of the MRS.DOUBTFIRE 2nd National Tour!
